About

Sometimes, the most precious artifacts of life are encoded in a whiff of chai, the call of a familiar voice, or the feel of a tasbih. In each of these rich moments are stories waiting to be unpacked by storytellers from our community.

Mosaic is a storytelling platform for Stanford University's Markaz community, an immense diversity of people who are all connected to the broader Muslim world. Every quarter, we release episodes that explore a yearlong theme. This year’s theme is heart to heart; what are the relationships that make up our community? How have these relationships become all the more needed despite (or because of) calamity and crisis? Where might we find silver linings in a disrupted world?
